Soapbox

From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

Due to a family dinner at home, I had just one free hour to play in this SKS-E,

mni tks to : K8AQM, IZ3NVR, W3NP, OH7UG, EA3NO (on 3 bands), G0RDO, GM3ZDH (on 3 bands), K8NS, YO3FVR/P (Qrp),

last QSO started at 21:14 and was a bit difficult with KC4HCH (more than five minutes long), sorry Roger !

Always a pleasure to have a participation in this short event, even if not many contacts.

See you all soon !

From BOB AA6AC, SKCC #6276T

Although several EU DX stations were logged into K3UK page

none were head at AA6AC SOCAL location (OXNARD). Condx were

lousy at best here. 10/15/12m dead even to a request or two. 20m just living. Found W7/ZS6JBJ this side of pond.

Also N5FSN and WD6R helped. Herd AD0AB calling but no QSO.

That's it. AA6AC Bob SOCAL #6276T Hope for JUNE 2014 73's

From JOHN K8BAT, SKCC #10395T

I had QSO's with members from Spain and Italy and also heard members from Germany and Switzerland, though for some reason I couldn't get to them.

The SKSE may not produce quantity; but it sure does produce quality! This is truly becoming a worldwide event. I look forward to next month.

From Keith WD8AFB, SKCC #7196T

I wish I ahdn't missed the first hour of the sprint. :-( Conditions were not great, but it was fun as always. Thanks gentlemen.

From Jim AF3Z, SKCC #3034T

It was good to be active again, even just for a little bit. Thanks for the contacts!

From Gerald WA5AFD, SKCC #8150T

Great to participate again in the SKE sprint. Band conditions were not good and only got to operate for an hour. Frank, HB9DCL had a great signal into Oklahoma and was able to contact Giulio IK3DED for two new DX QSO's. Thanks to all and 73 to all. Gerald

From Rick K0KEX, SKCC #5220S

This one caught me off guard time wise...I happened to hear John ZS6JBJ calling CQ-SKSE...I was to late to get into the event...tks John....73 all

From Catalin YO3FVR, SKCC #5909

QRP/portable from KN25gs, with FT-817ND, LDG-Z817 auto-tuner and MAAS HVT-400 whip antenna.

From John G0RDO, SKCC #2133T

Lots of fun with lots of QSB thrown in - tried 10m & 15m with little luck. On 15m worked EA3NO/Lluis, on 20m worked W2NRA/Art, OH7UG/Timo, AF4K/Bry, K8AQM/Ted, EA5AIO/Jose, YO3FVR/Catalin, IK2DED/Giulio, and on 40m worked F5DE/Bernard.

Rig Kenwood TS-440SAT, 100 watts to a just repaired MA6V vertical, and for my one 40m QSO, I used my home brew fishing pole vertical 6m tall mounted 1m off the ground with loading coil at the base, and a few radials around the yard. Morse key by Gerard of Belgium c1922, mounted on a smart slate base.

73. John / G├śRDO / SKCC 2133T

From Stefano IZ3NVR, SKCC #5631C

PWR: 500mW.

From Dave W3NP, SKCC #3182S

Conditions not the best but did manage to make a few contacts and a few EU stations on 2 bands. 73 from West Virginia

From Bob GM3ZDH, SKCC #6027T

I was only able to be on for a very short period at the end of the sprint but enjoyed the time I had. Worse, I'll miss the next one!
