Soapbox

From Joe KD2JC, SKCC #710T

Conditiona not good here. Local thunderstorms made copy difficult. Also my Yagi stuck pointing westward. Still a nice time. 73

From Lluis EA3NO, SKCC #6653T

thank you all for calling me, each new sprint more European stations, good Sprint EU.

From Dave G3ZRN, SKCC #8083

1st sprint, interesting to see how it all worked, good fun, hope to be better next time

From TONY IK2SON, SKCC #5486T

Thank you all very nice to hear so many European stations

the next time 73

Tony

From John G0RDO, SKCC #2133T

Great fun. Normally out on a thursday, but due to a sprained ankle was able to join in the SKSE HI. For all QSO's I alternated between a small mystery straight key and a grand Eddystone Bug Key from the UK.

From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

10 mn before the SKSE start, I contacted a new SKCC country (Z33A).

Then during the SKSE activity, two more countries down the log : R3DAU and IS0RDY,

eight new SKCC numbers,

and I had the opportunity to contact my neibourgh F6HKA (100 km distance) for a 25 points bonus.

All that made a nice event one more time.

Thanks to all and see you next time !

Bernard.

From Dean NW2K, SKCC #7330T

90W, matchbox, 80M loop at 30 feet.

From Erkki OH7QR, SKCC #6379C

Sorry, couldn't stay awake owing to the sleepless previous night! My gout was really painful, HI. Now it is healing, thanks to medicine. Hope to be back in WES on the Sunday.

From John N9GGE, SKCC #2886

I know I'm nuts entering this DX sprint running QRP from the midwest but, I let my good friend in need barrow my QRO rig.

From Bert W5ZR, SKCC #2931T

Conditions were rather poor, but many Europeans heard and worked. Found thet the ZR Sprinter does not score the SKSE correctly, so will fix before the next run.

Thanks to all for the qsos. Bert

From tom W4TMW, SKCC #6184T

Another great SKSE. It seems to me that activity for this event continues to increased ;0)

I stayed on 20 and 15M (and the K3UK web page) for the entire 2 hours. 15M was just opening into ZL as the SKSE was winding down...tnx Stan (ZL2BLQ and ZL2SWR) for the QSOs.

My station for this event was K2/100, 3 el Yagi, and homebrew magnetic bug.

73 and hpe to wrk u next time

Tom

From Ron AC2C, SKCC #2748T

I way way too little time to spend on the SKS-E this month. Looking forward to next month.

From Tony W4FOA, SKCC #641T

I heard and called several European SKCC members who could not hear me. And I thought I was losing my hearing 8-( Lots of fun to hear so much SKCC DX activity. Conditions will improve....won't they? 73 Tony W4FOA SKCC 641T

From Ad PA2PCH, SKCC #5217

very bad conditions to NA.

From Matt N3EIN, SKCC #6742T

I heard quite a few good signals on 20 meters and was fortunate that Lluis and Bert heard me before a much needed thundershower ended the fun. Thanks to all.

From Timo OH5FNI, SKCC #6378C

tnx qsos de Timo

From Donna AG6V, SKCC #6933T

saw LOTS of EU activity on the SKED page, but heard none. However, it seemed my day for rag chews anyway. And the non-member I worked was a dear fellow: 45 minutes later, I wasn't in the mood for the sprint. Wouldn't have met him without the SKSE however, so thx for the event.

From Mari IS0RDY, SKCC #7290

First Sprint for me,thanks to all.

From Jim NV9X, SKCC #1358T

Poor DX conditions in North Central Midwest.

From John VK4TJ, SKCC #4474T

As usual, I only get sunlight and hence conditions in the last 1/2 hour of the sprint, but still good fun. Thundering signal out of CE3FZ on the long path even though the experts say it should not have worked :-)

From Timo OH7UG, SKCC #4852

Trying to relearn straight key use ;o)

I like the SKSE as there is no contest stress at all, had time even go to sauna during the sprint.

Simple 80m vertical seems to work on other bands, too. Though on 20 m it mainly keeps the feed cable warm and shoots the rest towards zenith. Got 3 US on 20m and of course John, VK4TJ on 40 and 20 meters.

Tnx to all, cu & 73 de Timo/oh7ug

From Hugh AE5VB, SKCC #7283T

Fun

From Finn WB2UWU, SKCC #1708

Being a stubborn Dane, I spent 55 minutes trying to break

in to the F6HKA pile-up with my 5 watts. No joy, but interesting

to follow his QSOs . Then I had to get ready for a dinner date.

So Zero score, but a good time nonetheless. Thanks Thomas.

Finn WB2UWU 1708

From Pedro CE3FZ, SKCC #8088

My first SKSE. Nice contest, see you all next month.

From Bal EA8BVP, SKCC #645

This was my first SKSE event. I heard much activity with very good fists!! but I could only operate during some minutes so I'm looking forward to next month sprint. It's a very nice idea to hold this sprints because you meet great operators with a common ground.

Working condx: FT817 5W Vibroplex Bug Original (sorry for QLF :) )

From TONY G3ZRJ, SKCC #3492

Surprisingly little activity outside 14 MHz.

From Thomas OV5T, SKCC #7344

I was only able to operate for about 15 minutes here from my holiday QTH of Denmark. I heard a lot of signals but only managed to work 3 with my QRP setup, an FT-817ND with a 20+40m inv V only about 9m up. It was a lot of fun though. And conditions seemed pretty good, only wish I'd had more time. Thanks for a nice sprint to everyone who took part!

From Andrej IV3KCB, SKCC #5637

Bad CONDX on 40m. 73 Andrej

From Jerry K9PMV, SKCC #1438C

Great fun working into Europe for a SKCC event !

will continue to be active with my SKCC #
