From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

What a pity !

I was writting some QSL cards just in front of my transceiver, but I forgot to switch it on.

I discovered my mistake about one hour after the end of the event !

So had not a participation in the SKS-E for the first time ever, sigh !

I hope not to be so thoughtless next time, hi.

73 to all and see you soon,

Bernard.

From Lee K1LEE, SKCC #7246T

Got my K1 out of mothballs and had fun on a 20 mtr afternoon. Tnx to Lluis EA3NO and Romaine F4FGB for the reminder of how far 4 watts can go. CW gets thru! Vy 73 to all, Lee K1LEE

From George N2JNZ, SKCC #2836T

Had fun but the bands were not very cooperative ... Elecraft K1 and Vibroplex 100th Anniversary Bug

Pretty good conditions for late afternoon in CA. I didn't hear many other US stations, but managed to work WL7WH, EA3NO, and F4FGB on 20M and LW3EX on 10M. I was wondering if I had missed the sprint, but the log form finally showed up today.

From Matt N3EIN, SKCC #6742T

Thanks Walt, Julio, Lluis and (in these SKS-E events I limit myself to only one US contact) thanks to Lee in CT.

From Jim ND9M/M, SKCC #8233T

These few contacts were made from my driveway and were QRP as well! The station was my FT-857D (with reduced drive) to a Hustler vertical magmounted on the car trunk.

From Ray WB0PYF, SKCC #5169T

Didn't get much time. Great time. Ray

From Gerald WA5AFD, SKCC #8150T

Only worked first part of the event. Signals faded and noise level increased so only the first hour was completed here. But as always it was fun. One of the best signals from Europe was from Lluis, EA3NO. Also was able to begin the sprint with a new country furnished by Walt, LW3EX in Argentina on 10 meters. 73 to all. Gerald
