From Szabi VA2FDT, SKCC #9505C

Arrived at 2149 UTC, but made 3 QSOs so it is a win for me ;)

73/72! See you during WES. Szabi

From Matt N3EIN, SKCC #6742T

Thanks to Julio and Walt on 15 Meters and Bob (AK) on 20 Meters. CU in the WES!

N3EIN/Ten-Tec C21/G5RV "Lite"/SKCC Key

From Bert W5ZR, SKCC #2931T

Condx were extremely poor. Very hard to work Europe this time; but did snag a few. Most signals from Europe were at the ESP level. Tnx for the qsos....73 Bert

From Eldon W0SZV, SKCC #4999T

Rough one. all on 20m but last one. was able to squeak out F5DE, Bernard during the last few min. Used Jupiter with loop, long wire, g5rv and vertical antennas. Got Bernard on the vertical. great sprint. had fun

From Art WK2S, SKCC #9434C

Not enough vowels to get a bonus.

From Rick WU1V, SKCC #9293T

Got bonuses for SANTA, TREE, and XMAS! Fun sprint! No European stations worked, most of my 9 QSOs were east of the Mississippi, just one far west station (CA).

From Walt LW3EX, SKCC #3804T

Quiet times on the Sol = Bad prop... despite I sent a couple of 5nn... to KB4QQJ Randy on 10m & K1LEE Lee on 20m, WTG guys!

Thanks all for the Q´s, BCNU in WES. 73, GL Walt- ..-

From Feco HA8KW, SKCC #3447T

Extremly poor condx. 20m opened up only 15 minutes before SKSE finished. I had 3 DX stations only: a Japanese on 40m, KB4QQJ and W5ZR on 20m. No bonus word can be formed from suffixes I got... I hope we will have better condx next time. IC756 (80W), 3el Yagi on 20m, sloping dipoles on 40 and 80.

From Jim AF3Z, SKCC #3034T

I had a good time. All qso's on 20m except for 2... one of which was F5DE, my only Europe QSO. Thanks, Bernard. My "scrabble letters" left a good bit to be desired :-). Thanks & 73, Jim

From jim AD0AB, SKCC #9667

Didn't hear anybody in Europe but it was still fun.

From Julio NP3CW, SKCC #2632T

CONDITIONS NOT FAVORABLE TO MY AREA WITH EUROPEAN STATIONS.

ABLE TO WORK ONLY EA3NO Lluis, F5DE Bernard,LU3EX Walt and

KP4SJ Pablo as DX stations. 20 and 15 meters were most active to my area.

Happy Holidays to all members with their family>

Julio

From Lee K1LEE, SKCC #7246

This SKSE for me was more like WES - Worked Eastern States! Canada + Argentina + US made a big three multis! Always fun, though, and looking forward to the real WES this weekend. Tnx es 73 to all! Lee K1LEE.

From Randy KB4QQJ, SKCC #3508T

Thanks to everyone for a fun event. Don't often get to play in this one.

I was using a prototype antenna at about 80 feet configured North/South and it seemed to work out pretty well considering band conditions.

I ran the KX3 #085 at 1 to 10 watts testing the antenna so can't claim all QRP this time.

Thanks Szabi for the 2xQRP in the last seconds of QRS play. My last contact of the event was the strongest. N7KEF was pushing 50 over solid!!

Not much activity from across the pond but I managed Spain,France and Hungry. Argentina and Puerto Rico were "uber" strong on 10 and 15!!. Thanks Walt and Julio ya'll were smokin this time! AB1HW??....you stumped me on that one Chas.... :-)

Special thanks to WB5UPS, K1LEE,AD0AB,W0SZV and EA3NO for the bonus word "SEASON"

For the want of an "I" and an "M" I had Christmas.....

73 till the weekend folks,

Randy_KB4QQJ

From Jon K1NV, SKCC #2609T

Aside from a short-skip QSO on 15M with AD0AB in KS, the action seemed to be on 20M and although no European stations were heard, US and Canadian stations were abundant. Toward the end of the Sprint, WL7WH popped up with a 599 signal on 20M. I didn't have enough QSO's to make Christmas words, but I managed "SANTA" for 50 points.

From Bob WL7WH, SKCC #2940T

Not much time to work this skse....hope next time will have more time...was fun as always!!

From Ad PA2PCH, SKCC #5217

No conditions to the west. Even 40m had varying conditions. Quit after one hour to watch a football match.....

From Joe KD2JC, SKCC #710T

Condx quite bad here. Only a few signals at 579 or better. 20 meters short skip included PA, MA and NY. Nothing from across the pond but did work w4/G8HI on holiday in GA. Thanks Ken and enjoy your visit. See you all this weekend. 73.

From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

As I heard no signal at all on 20 m, my traffic was done only on 80 and 40 m, exactely like last month.

Apart European SKCC friends, I made 5 QSO with USA, 2 with Pueto Rico and was called by VK4TJ on 40 m at 20:23 UTC for my first DX in this SKSE edition.

Unfortunately It was not possible for me to have any bonus word.

See you next time with a great pleasure, as usual !

By advance I wish all SKCC members and their family, a happy Christmas.

From Walt VE3HNE, SKCC #4893T

First time I have entered the skcc-e but had lots

of fun doing this one.

I hope to work the next skcc-e and do a little better.

thanks to all.

Walt

From Pablo KP4SJ, SKCC #8843T

Just one hour worked. Propagation very irregular but I had a good time. Congratulations to all the participants, see next Sprint.///

From Alex PA1FOX, SKCC #8265T

Condition on the DC bands were not good. Even no sign of big gun stations. The activity was on 40 and 80 and even within EU condx very varying. It was very nice to work Marco, IW1BCO, who managed to get his QRP signal across even with these condx.

I'm doing a lot of practice on twin paddles these days but it really gives the right thrill to use the cootie.

73, to all! cu in K3Y event and SKSE's in 2013!

Alex, PA1FOX
