From Eldon W0SZV, SKCC #4999T

Decided to go QRP for the month of October. Not a good start for me. Spent 1 1/2 hours S&P during SKSE and not one station heard me. Bands are terrible here during the daylight hours. Hope things are better next month

From Bob WL7WH, SKCC #2940T

Another fun event....started off slow and then got better!

High winds here and beam wasn't pointed quite right. Thanks to all!!

From Dennis W8VN, SKCC #3141T

Rats! after only three contacts - was called away on a work emergency. At least I worked S57WJ in Slovenia!

From Rick WU1V, SKCC #9293T

Enjoyed the last 50 minutes of the sprint, glad the organizers added 15 minutes, during which I made half of my contacts. Worked two new members, Rom #9648 and Mike #9661 - welcome!

From Julio NP3CW, SKCC #2632T

This SKS-E was very active.

Strarted in 15M with 22 QSO's

14 QSO's in 20M and only one QSO in 10 mtrs with KP4SJ Pablo. Lucky to work F5PKR Olivier in 2 bands.

Thanks to all members for participating on this event.

Good luck.

Julio

From Jon K1NV, SKCC #2609T

All QSO's were made on 15M this month and I but I had to leave for another commitment 45 minutes into the event. Even so, S57WJ and EA3NO provided QSO's from Europe and I worked KP4SJ in PR for another multiplier. KD2JC, WA5AFD, and N3EIN covered the USA end. 10M might have yielded a few QSO's but I didn't hear any activity in spite of loud beacons.

From Frank AA2XB, SKCC #1681T

Used my just aquired ten tec delta 11 for the first time and got great signal reports from the dx stations.

From Gabor S57WJ, SKCC #7979T

The CONDX were good. I made the highest number of QSO's so far in SKSE.

From Feco HA8KW, SKCC #3447T

Got home only for 2nd half of SKSE but enjoyed very much! It would have given me all time highest QSO number if had been multiplied by two for the whole time interval :-)

See you next month's SKSE!

73, Feco

From Mats SM7BUA, SKCC #0122

This was my first SKSE and the result not so good. Conditions on 40 meter not the best. Only 3 QSO logged.

Best 73 de Mats SM7BUA

From Ad PA2PCH, SKCC #5217

From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

One more time, my pleasure to had a participation in the SKS-E.

Bonus station F5PKR Olivier was contacted on two bands, sorry I did not hear him on 20 m due to the dead zone distance.

Two new members were contacted : ON4KJM (#9369) for a new SKCC country and SM7BUA (#122).

Now, let's go for the next Halloween WES !

73 to everybody !

From Ray WB0PYF, SKCC #5169T

Good DX conditions on 20/15m. Thanks Ray

From Matt N3EIN, SKCC #6742T

15 meters was surprisingly favorable in PA where I found Gabor, Rom, Lluis and Julio to the east, Jon to the west and new member Wayne-NK4E to the south. Nat-PS7HD was the sole contact on 10 meters, and then we found each other again soon after on 20 meters. There I confronted (too) many signals, working Gabor again and Simon and Frank in ITA. Bob-GM3ZDH, I got all your information but the QRM was too much for the final exchange...next time!

From Alex PA1FOX, SKCC #8265T

Not so much activity heard on 20m, so I switched to 40 and 80 at times. I was very pleased to work Mats, SM7BUA and Rick, W1U1V for the first time.

Strangely enough, the bonus station could hardly be copied on 40m so I did not try to work Olivier.

CU the next SKSE
