Soapbox

From Jon K1NV, SKCC #2609T

I operated from the warmth of the house this month using the Yaesu FT-450 and ZS6BKW dipole. The only activity appeared to be on 20 meters. Conditions were definitely not good, but QSO's were made with made with EA3NO and VE3FAL for two additional country multipliers. There weren't enough QSO's to make "EASTER," but I did get "EAS."

I called HA8KW many times toward the end of the Sprint, but Feco just couldn't pull me out of the noise. He was 429 here in CA. Preston, WA6OEF, couldn't copy me either.

CU next month!

From Dean NW2K, SKCC #7330T

Good conditions on 20M. It would be great if we had more activity, so please join in for a few QSOs. See you next time. 90W, inverted V at 50'.

From Feco HA8KW, SKCC #3447T

An enjoyable event again, TNX for participation.

What a pity: in just 4 minutes to the end I could hear 3 new countries on 40m close to each other (GM3ZDH, DL7GEM and IW1BCO) but none of them could be logged because no one of ongoing QSO's finished... :-( I wished I could have slowed the time down... :-)

In the second hour NA stations came up on 20m, some of them was really strong (e.g. AE5VB was a bit over S9!) Despite relatively good condx one of them was not strong enough to fight against the noise: I could copy only a few letters and after several trial I could not hear him anymore...

Happy easter to all of you!

73,

Feco

HA8KW

From Rick K0KEX, SKCC #5220T

20 meters was working in Missouri, East coast stations 599 & Europe 559...hesitated to call some stations due to the close proximity. Patience payed off with F5JWH, EA3NO, & HA8KW & just missed F5DE...a visit from a new ham KD0QXT as the SKSE was closing gave me the opportunity to explain the SKCC group

A nice time, thanks to all for a good time..73 Rick

From Gerald WA5AFD, SKCC #8150T

Thanks to all who worked my station. Signals were few and weak due to band conditions. All QSOs on 20 meters except one on 15. Looking forward to the next sprints. 73

From Phil F5JWH, SKCC #8069T

Thanks to all SKCC contacts, good WE. Best 73''''s Philippe

From Thomas M0TRN, SKCC #7344T

Thanks for a nice sprint! Conditions were quite good for me. I was on 20m for the first half hour or so and then switched to 40m when some strong local QRM suddenly appeared.

This time I was using my 1960''s Kent hand key, which has a very nice action and makes sending easy, even though it''s slightly loud acoustically due to its hollow wooden base.

I was also using new resonant antennas for both bands, on 20m a half square, and on 40m a dipole up about 20m.

Thanks to all who took part and see you next month for the SKSE Anniversary Sprint!

From Joe KD2JC, SKCC #710T

20 Meters was the band again. One QSO on 15M. Propagation opened to Europe during second hour. Nice afternoon for CW. Thanks to all and Happy Easter.

From Ad PA2PCH, SKCC #5217

No DX conditions from the northern part of PA-land. After 45 minutes decided to watch football match Valencia-AZ.

From Finn WB2UWU, SKCC #1708

Very good results considering my very casual operation.

Next year make it 100 points each for Easter and Passover.

If you are looking for South Dakota you should have been on the SKSE.

Nice signal from AE0P, his P would have been nice in Passover.

Also EA3NO who says he is from ESP, but I believe we had a real

contact, my first SKCC with Spain, no Extra Sensory Perception involved.

Even with Thomas' new (better ?) antennas, he still did not reply to my 5 Watts

And I had to ask W4RFT for an SKCC number, he did not know about the SKSE.

All on 20 meters, 40 was dead, with my TenTec R4020 and a 5 band vertical

with a few radials and the WW2 Japanese key.

From Jean F6FWF, SKCC #8080

Hello,

Hard QRN over Europe, hard to find any contacts the first hour.

73 to all of us

Jean

From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

I came back home too late for a full event,

but enjoyed to have contacts with 9 stations.

I did not make up the full bonus, just missing the letter "S" for this purpose.

Never mind, see you soon and happy Easter to all !

73 from France.

From Bob WL7WH, SKCC #2940T

Condx again not good for me, but the results were nice. Look forward to the next skse!!
