From Lluis EA3NO, SKCC #6653T

Once again thank you all for being in this fifth skse.

73 de Lluis

From Finn WB2UWU, SKCC #1708

I am getting better all the time. Thanks for a fun two hours.

Like getting to Carnegie Hall, practice, practice, practice.

From GREG K7SDW, SKCC #6224T

Nice to see so many working their locals on the low bands and nice a few spotted us USA types on the high bands.

Lots of fun.. hope I can do it again. And next time I wont stomp on NV9X frequency hi hi

From Wes W1LIC, SKCC #1142T

Noisy conditions and weak signals from EU. Made only three QSOs with England and then five stateside contacts. Four of the eight were stations I had never worked before. Hoping for better conditions next month.

From Bert W5ZR, SKCC #2931T

I heard no Europeans the first hour. Finally just before the second hour PA2PCH popped thru on 20 meters. Spent the whole sprint on 20 meters; but condx not very good. Thanks for the stations who did hear and work me! Even with these poor bands VK4TJ and E51AND came thru via 20M long-path, amazing. 73 Bert

From GERALD WA5AFD, SKCC #8150

Could hear very few DX stations the first hour but finally Europe started to be heard with some good signals. Had fun and hope to do it again. Lots of band noise here in Oklahoma. Thanks to all for the qso's! 73, Gerald WA5AFD

From George N2JNZ, SKCC #2836T

20 meters poor to EU .... Did get Lluis , EA3NO and new member Willy , OE3WYC .... Got my buddy Rick , K0KEX in MO ... Tried to snag Rob , G4LMW and Thomas , M0TRN but no joy .... QRP rough today .... Flex 1500 , 5 watts to ZeroFive vertical and Vibroplex 100th Anniversary bug ... Thanks all !!!

From Matt N3EIN, SKCC #6742T

There were many weak DX signals on 20 meters here in PA, but stateside QRM was a problem...so I went to 15 meters and found LW3EX all by himself...Thanks Walt.

Matt Ten-Tec C21/G5RV-Lite/SKCC Key

From Willy OE3WYC, SKCC #8326

My first activity as SKCC member :-) but not taking it too serious. Gave my old Alinco DX70 a ride and had some problems with its IF filter selectivity. Using a (D.R.P.) Junker key. Antenna: Low, "tree-mounted" dipole.

It was fun. 73! de oe3wyc, willy

From Enric EA3VN, SKCC #7933

I'm rediscovering my old j38 ....amazing !!

73 es dx

From Randy KB4QQJ, SKCC #3508T

That has to be the toughest sprint I've been in for conditions. Slim pickins. Thanks to all and really good to work old friends Walt and Brenard, LW3EX and F5DE. Brenard, we just barely pulled it off dr friend..hi hi

72 for now,

Randy_KB4QQJ

??? the country code link takes me to an ARRL logo??

From Alan KA5VZG, SKCC #6264T

Only 4 qso's, but they were all good ones. Lluis, EA3NO and Walt, LW3EX, Greg in CA, K7SDW, and I was surprised to get a really strong signal from Andy at E51AND.

From Rick K0KEX, SKCC #5220T

20M was quiet and stateside for the first 40 minutes where some great signals from new SKCC members. N2JNZ, George you were banging into Missouri, TU for the nice comments. Decided to check 15 and caught LW3EX, TU Walt. Back to 20M and some great Q's with F5DE, HA8KW, DF2KI, PA2PCH, & M0TRN TU all for the great Q's...Thanks to all for a great SKSE sprint

From Jeff K9JP, SKCC #3008T

Got home later from work than I wanted, made QSO's. Heard many European ops. but need to try higher power next time.

TNX Feco, HA8KW for hearing my 5 watts today. 73 and Good Health to All! de Jeff - K9JP SKCC #3008T

From tom W4TMW, SKCC #6184T

I thought this sprint was great, with so many DX stations to work. My problem was that they all seemed to be busy, I had trouble finding stations calling cq. My first contact was Ad (PA2PCH). For this sprint I used my TS480S and 3 el yagi.....staying on 15 and 20M. I used 2 keys; a homebrew straight key and homebrew rightangle bug.

As usual, another great sprint. 73 Tom

From Bob WL7WH, SKCC #2940T

This was a great skse for me. 20 was good the whole time. Thanks to all that heard me!!!!!!! Bob

From Erkki OH7QR, SKCC #6379C

Conditions better this time, thanks for the QSOs. 73 and cuagn de Erkki

From Vince S52CC, SKCC #5011T

Great fun after a period of low activity. Worked 5 new members creamed with Alaska, a new State/Entity. Thanks Bob, WL7WH and all the participants.

From Bernard F5DE, SKCC #6247T

Another friendly event was this SKSE.

Three new SKCC members and one new country worked : 4X1ZZ (qrp station), thank you Howie !

And last two minutes were worked with Randy KB4QQJ/qrp, as usual a nice signal here with my old GP antenna !

Every station was a pleasure to work, DX or not.

Sorry not hearing African station, as I have worked all other continents : EU, AS, OC, NA and SA !

Will be there next time for sure !

73 es all the best to the group !

Bernard.

From Tony W4FOA, SKCC #641T

Sorry I missed the SKSE. Was at a meeting which preempted the SKSE. Hopefully, next month. 73

Tony, W4FOA

From Ron AC2C, SKCC #2748T

Conditions seemed good but I only had a few minutes between appointments. Still, three contacts is better than none.

From Joerg DL9YCS, SKCC #7150T

As always a nice event. Funny condx here in the contest.

Worked Walt, LW3EX, Bob, WL7WH with nice reports, but

the rest of USA was very week here.

Until next time

73 Joerg DL9YCS

From Feco HA8KW, SKCC #3447T

Very difficult condx were before and at the beginning of SKSE.

In second half of SKSE US stations suddenly came in. Big surprise was VK4TJ to my cq when directing my Yagi to North.

WL7WH called me rather strong.

Although prediction showed better condx on 15m to NA than on 20m, only LW3EX could be heard and worked on 15m.

80m was vy noisy, only the bonus PA2PCH succeeded in logging.

40m was rather good to EU but YO3FVR cannot get through the static noise here.

Anyway, it was very nice SKSE again, TNX for QSOs, see u soon!

73, Feco HA8KW #3447T

From Joe KD2JC, SKCC #710T

First part of 20 very quiet here. No many Europeans heard. Got a few Qs on 15 later. E51AND (Andy) was a nice one. Thanks to all.

From Peter DF2KI, SKCC #6052

great fun ! "I'll be back" next month !

rig K2, 15 Watts out on end fed wire ant, Junker straight key.

mny tnx to K0KEX for first SKCC qso, N3RSD for my first DE qso and sorry W5ZR for starting rag-chewing ;o)

Hope to catch you next month again...

73 Peter DF2KI

From Bob GM3ZDH, SKCC #6027

Just caught end of sprint after arriving back from a trip to Ireland.

From Jerry K9PMV, SKCC #1438T

Great to hear all the EU stations on. Couldn't get to all of them. 20 meters was the only band open from here in the midwest to Europe. Hoping for 15 and 10 meters to come alive sometime soon. Had fun ! 73 to all

From Rob IZ1TRK, SKCC #7338

1st participation in qrp cat. wid much qrm on 20m

had finally to move to 40m where i had more fun :-)

tnks all + whish to take part also next rounds

From ANDREJ IV3KCB, SKCC #5637

CU in next SKSE. 73 Andrej

From Alex PA1FOX, SKCC #8265

This was my first SKS while having my own SKCC number. I was on a camping during holiday. As antenna, a G5RV was used. See the pictures. Since the feeder was not long enough I connected two crocodile clamps and some extra wire to get into the tent. Look if you can find the antenna center point in the trees... I did manage to work the US with this rig. Later, after the SKSE even VK. First time ever! Strangely enough, no QSO's were made on 80 meters, even having PA2PCH as bonus station nearby. Activity was low on 80 meters.

73, Alex

From Len KC0RSX, SKCC #14

Limited time this month--and all early and on 20 meters. I hope to be later in the event next month if possible--still on 20.

Len #14

From Thomas M0TRN, SKCC #7344C

Another nice sprint! Most activity for me was on 20m, but also had 6 QSO's on 40m, with Netherlands, Spain and Italy - plus Kazakhstan but that wasn't an SKCC contact!
